OK. I get your point. We should focus on her mistakes and totally ignore any of her decency, joy, honesty and attention she gave to suffering British citizens.
She probably deserves a medal for her courage in forcing English royalty to at least witness a non-archaic view of life. Diana was an attractive and appealing young woman who, IMO, made a mistake in marrying the rather stodgy Charles, who obviously always had an attraction to Camille.
We are all what we are.
That said, Michelle Obama does not show the gracefulness of Diana or any of the many wives of the presidents I've lived to see. Don't believe me? Watch how she walks, how she dresses.
Watch how she eats as well. I saw a clip of her during the campaign. No table manners whatsoever.
Did Mama Robinson not teach this girl anything, or did she just decide to ignore whatever her mother tried to tell her? The woman is a tacky beast.
