Even in his statement the Bishop calls these folks “pro-abortion Catholics”. To me they are mutually exclusive. Some Catholic Madison Ave type should come up with a label for these pols. Something clever and marginalizing that conveys the idea of apostate Catholic or CINO (Catholic in name only) or something. I am a Catholic and a Christian. I don't see how that's possible. All Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholic.
