With the 2010 census fast approaching, computer glitches, operational missteps and ballooning costs could overwhelm the government's ability to conduct the once-a-decade count of U.S. population, congressional investigators said Thursday. Reports released by the Government Accountability Office show critical preparations for the 2010 census are behind schedule and the Census Bureau has no clear strategy for improving the count of hard-to-reach minorities.

and the Census Bureau has no clear strategy for improving the count of hard-to-reach minorities.Well, they are planning to join the 21st century and use computer models for the count. Computers don't care whether they are legal or illegal.
Much more efficient and ummmm... productive.
Just like global warming.

What a transparent excuse for not actually counting, as demanded by the Constitution, but “estimating” how many Democrat voters there are in every blue state.

Cooperating with the census is signing a surrender document. Big talk everywhere: Tax Revolt! Buy lead!! Yeah, sure. Right after telling some Obamoron how many toilets are in the house. Right after providing a data base for the enemy.

What about lying like a rug on the census document?
For example, it was only recently that I discovered that I’m black. Since I have to Choose One From The List...

"What about lying like a rug on the census document? For example, it was only recently that I discovered that Im black. Since I have to Choose One From The List..." Not good. You don't have to choose one from the list. You can refuse. You can refuse with a snarl on your kisser. If anyone can't do that then they need to get off the front lines. Maybe wrap bandages or sing songs.

Cooperating with the census is signing a surrender document. From Article One of the Constitution: "shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons ... The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct."
I will cooperate with an actual enumeration and all other legitimate inquiries, happy in the fact that they have killed the "long form". As for the rest, I will "answer" where required by law, but I have no interest in being helpful with information that is none of their business.

Right after telling some Obamoron how many toilets are in the house. Right after providing a data base for the enemy. The only information they got from me in 2000 was: "Two people live here".
I wrote that over the answer parts of the form. Next year I'll have labels printed to save time.

In our area of Northeast PA the Census is looking to hire at least 100 people to do the canvassing and it’s like pulling teeth. They pay $11-14/hr with a potential to earn $7,000 for the duration - - and few takers.

WTF is so hard about this? Those guys do it every 10 years, for crying out loud. Dust off the old manuals, and do the same thing.

Statistical analysis is here at last. What they wanted last time, now ACORN will determine Congressional seats both Nationally and Statewide, cool.
