Well there’s one soldier who now has to worry about Al Qaeda AND the Secret Service. Nice. I wonder how long it will be before he ends up taking the dirt nap under a canon in Fort Marcy Park. The fact of Zero’s ineligibility is going to snowball. I hope it doesn’t precipitate something terrible.
I’m sure the lieutenant understood the risks before making his statement. Patriots, true patriots, don’t often let fear of death stand before them and doing the right thing. Perhaps we can shield him somewhat by keeping the spotlight on him — and hastening the eligibility issue to its conclusion.
