Nearly 10 percent of Georgia state legislators are late filing or paying their state taxes, and state Sen. Robert Brown is apparently among them.

Brown, D-Macon, said Wednesday he’s not sure whether he actually owes the state or federal government any money because he hasn’t filed tax returns. He said he’s gotten extensions, but he declined to give more information or say for what years he received filing extensions.

Of course he doesn't owe taxes, only rich Republicans are required to pay taxes. It's the latest thing.

Brilliant career move, he should be offered a cabinet position at any moment.

That’s a good one. So if I don’t file my defense for not paying is I didn’t know I owed taxes because I didn’t file.

Today, I will change my party affiliation to D and stop filing income tax returns.

Sounds like a plan. (No sarcasm)

Proposal - Any politician who neglects to pay his/her taxes is no longer allowed to vote on any legislation which taxes others and automatically lose the right to take part in voting for or introducing any legislation which determines how tax money is spent. Further, those politicans are henceforth ineligible to receive as payment any other form of compensation which was originated through the taxing of other citizens who followed the law and paid their taxes.

- There. Problem solved.

Oh...so THAT’S how it works. Every taxpayer in the USA should file an extension on April 15, and then another and another because apparently there is no limit to extensions...or is that a just a perk for Democrat politicians?

I have a PLAN!

Every Demcorat should be nominated for a Cabinet Position with/by Resident Obama.

Then when we find that they have not paid their taxes then we can collect those taxes (and associated penalities).

Next thing you know - - - - - - we are out of the financial crisis because we have gotten the Democrates to pay THEIR TAXES.

The possibilities are endless.

Your Honor, you can't find me guilty of murder, I never went to medical school so I didn't know he would die if I shot him.

22 Georgia legislators fail to pay income taxes...

According to Drudge headline.
I hope someone in the Georgia area can post pictures of the 22 involved. I wonder if they share party affiliation or anything else. I’ll bet the pics would look like the recently posted Obama supporters/mug shots pics.
