“Obama’s most ardent financial-industry fans are deserting him”

Fools.

Supporting Obama shows extremely poor judgment. Especially if you are supposed to be someone with experience and insight into economic and financial issues.

These people are dolts.

This is just the usual disappointment inherent in an affirmative action hire.

They thought nobody could possibly be worse than Bush. The MSM told them so, so it must have been true. ;)

It may be time to support a bank that does not want its $361M bailout offer, or an auto company that does not require a bailout.

I refuse to participate, and changing banks and continuing to support my car's maker are two ways not to play.

Obama is sending so many bad and just plain mixed-up messages, it is no surprise that the markets are confused (and they don't like uncertainty).

From the article, here are the most significant points IMO...

The Obama budget and the so-called stimulus package don't just expand the deficit (as we should during a downturn), they do so in the most irresponsible ways, with pork and programs pulled from old liberal wish lists.

On top of that, we get fresh threats of higher taxes on the most productive people in the country and a bank bailout that remains a mystery.

Didn’t his talk of bankrupting industries that weren’t “green” enough give them a clue?

Economic health of this nation was never a priority for him.

Social engineering is his number one priority.

These dolts ran around with their fingers in their ears singing “la la la la la” until after they voted for him.

Just goes to show how incredibly stupid the folks on Wall Street really are, big paydays for incredible stupidity for many decades... If you work on wall street and supported Obama to begin with you have shown yourself to be one of the greatest fools ever born.

The fact it has taken you 6 months to figure out this guys a joke, in every meaningful way shows just how much you value schmooze over substance.

You were warned.

And this should’ve surprised who during the campaign?

Yet Wall St. $$$ flowed into Obama’s coffers.

Yesterday’s stock rebound may have been another dead kitten bounce.

Or it may have been due to the FDIC chairb$tch warning that FDIC was in trouble.

Regardless the market at this time is back down across most indexes:

I bet the Wall Streeters, as they pulled the lever for Osama, never imagined they’d be pilloried as modern-day Mensheviks.

Like Rats leaving a sinking ship.

Let’s pray that Obummer & Co. do not enter into international treaties of the “One World Order/Global Warming” persuasion.

Other socialist policies can be reversed, treaties cannot!

A couple of weeks ago, we had dinner in Marin with the host couple and two other couples. These are people, who worked with me and pretended to be conservative until they retired.

After the first glass of wine and micro brew were served, it became open game from them re bashing Republicans, Bush and Rush. Finally, my wife told them no more politics and Bush/Rush bashing or we were going home.

They like most other rats are really split personalities.

They were proudly pushing Zer0, condemning evil capitalistic greed (of course only rich Republicans are greedy), and then complaining, moaning and crying about losing over 50% of the value of their IRA’s and 401k’s.

The last bit shows their greed. These 3 couples are basically retired and yet their IRA’s and 401ks were heavily invested in stocks and mutual funds betting on the high returns with little if any diversifing re their investments.

One of the women picked on the fact that we weren’t whining and moaning and asked my wife, why.

My wife said that I anticipated this failure after Pelosi and Reid took over and made appropriate moves. Of course that brought out the anti Bush/Greedy Republican spews from them.

I told them, I wasn’t going to discuss it anymore. If they were interested in what I did re our investments to send me an email the next Monday.

The Marin couple never sent one. The other two did. I sent them back another email stating that I was not going to waste my time explaining what I had done and unless they sent me an email saying they were really concerned about Zer0, Nancy, Harry and Barney the prancing queen.

I got no replies back from them.

This Administration’s economic policies only make sense if it’s understood that the goal is to turn the economy into something in line with left-liberal fantasies.

Looks like the winners in the new Obama economy are going to be the couch potatoes.

Let the shell game begin.

I’ve seen in Silicon Valley that the Obama stickers haven’t remained on the cars for months after the election, as had stickers for Gore and Kerry.
