Sir, I always appreciate your optimism, but even VDH, the most incorrigible optimist of the bunch, has finally come to write California’s post-mortem. What comes next is anyone’s guess, most to the realistic scenarious look pretty grim to me.

Well, actually I do...most of California's problems are shared by the rest of the blue states. California is only further down the road to anarchy due to the huge number of illegals currently residing here. The rest of the country is very close behind indeeed.
IMHO, our Republic is currently facing its greastest challenge since the Civil War. And the order of battle does not favor the survival of liberty, or of limited government.
