It’s a little warmer today. A whole 12 degrees.

I'll probably open up the fireplace and build a nice, cozy fire today. Last week I did the same thing but then when we dropped back into single digits I had to close it up again. We lose too much heat if it's open.

FWIW, I might have posted this email excerpt already but the last couple of lines caught my eye again. Of course we don't know how reliable the source is but it's interesting if true.

Nationwide 30,000 people attended a Nationwide Tea Party on last Friday, according to Nationwide Chicago Tea Party Coordinator, Michael Patrick Leahy. Most of the cities got at least 200 participants. According to someone with contacts at the White House, Obama wonders what he should do about the Tea Party movement.

I had seen that quote somewhere as well. So far, there’s not a darned thing he can do about it. We still have Freedom of Assembly. Of course, that won’t bother him. He doesn’t respect the constitution.

Good morning...sorta back from the land of the flu (nasty, nasty bug...still can’t breath). I was off yesterday, had good intentions to ‘do’ things around the house and listen to my talkie line-up...but went back to sleep til about Rush time:) I think I needed a recooperative Snuggie to help me thru this...they were in my GE ad (at a great price of $14.99 but none to be find in my local Iggle.)

I have been looking for more info (there is a thread here) but the ‘third’ leg of financial failure is now unraveling. Derivatives (I don’t know exactly what they are...but sound ominous). Hopefully one (or more) of the shows will mention/explain this next big wave in the tsumani...

Hmmmm...not to pull an AlGore and be a fear monger but did yunz see that a 25 year old Allegheny County man DIED from the flu? THe first AC flu related death this year.

It looks like they are going to hold TP's on both April 11th and the 15th. The 11th being part of Easter weekend if going to keep the numbers down IMO.

You mentioned you couldn't make it and it's going to be VERY difficult for me as well, although with it being only a couple of miles from my house I probably will make it.

Thank...I hope so too!!! Bring Clorox wipes to work w/you (and a mask!!!)...as to the deriviatives thing (again, I have heard of them but know what they actually are). Apparently its a paper type of trade that have totally tanked...this is what Cramer (and others who don’t scream) were cautioning of earlier; and this is why Cramer has been ‘called out’ like Santilli (who has pretty much been silenced.).
