Rove isn’t an idiot, but getting into a debate with idiots doesn’t necessarily help matters. Something tells me though that only the mouthbreathers on the loony Dem left are going to pay attention to this however. The public in general is probably pretty self absorbed right now.

If I understand it correctly, he has no choice in this. Once President Bush lifted his objections based on Presidential Privilege, Rove has to testify or be found in contempt of Congress (that's of Congress, not for Congress which I sure we all have :)). Bush removed any legal cover Rove had.
As always, Bush just doesn't understand Liberals as illustrated by his lawyers naive statement that this agreement, "will finally put this matter to rest."
Giving in to Liberals won't put things to rest, it only encourages them to go further. In that they are no different from our enemies (...I know, I know...but I'm being generous now not snarky).
