So here is the list of Democrat Senators who may possibly be influenced with calls and emails.
Evan Byah (Indiana), Mary Landrieu (Louisiana), Mark Warner (Virginia), Bill Nelson (Florida), Amy Klobuchar (Minnesota), Mark Pryor (Arkansas), Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire), Robert P. Casey Jr. (Pennsylvania), and Blanche L. Lincoln (Arkansas), Claire McCaskill (Missouri), Mark Begich (Alaska), as well as Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.). Senator Jon Tester (Montana) is not officially in the group, but the article details his discomfort with this spending free-for-all.
Add another surprising name to the list: New York Times leftist columnist Maureen Dowd.
Dowd actually sided with Sen. John McCain and ripped Obama, saying "he did not ask Congress to sacrifice and make hard choices; he let it do a lot of frivolous redecorating in its budget." Funny, when McCain was talking about how he had a career of fighting wasteful spending during the campaign, and Obama was simply talking about how he would do the same, Dowd invariably sided with Obama. Now you wonder if she thinks she made the wrong choice...

Now that their socialist scumbag is safely in office, this piss-mouse Dowd and the rest of her ilk can pretend to be critical of Dumbo in order to try to fool their meager reading audiences into believing they are objective observers - - genuine journalists, if you will - - and really do have at least a little credibility.
And their readers may just be stupid enough to buy it.

I agree that this is her most likely motivation. At the same time, it’s good to see that many people who we assume are totally on board with where we know Obama is going, really aren’t that comfortable with it.
She quotes Shakespeare's King Lear:

...now how many of her readers will even understand the quote, much less the implication?

Dowd is perfectly “comfortable with it”. She’s phony, and her column is a self-serving lie. The election is over, so now she can pretend she’s a real journalist. It’s all a lie. Lying is what these mice DO.

Amy is my Senator, I'll call her, but she's from the hard left moon-bat liberal side of the Democrat Party. I can't believe anyone really thinks she'll show any sense here.
