Well, after that guy in Atlanta killed a judge and two others and then made Rick Warren into a famous writer, you’d think even the courts in California would see to improving their security before they have to resort to shooting the defendants off the backs of the judges.

I don’t know. I little fear might be good for a judge.

This type of thing will continue and rise in the number of incidents. I don't care who was involved or their status in the country. BITS is coming and will escalate at a rate we've never dreamed of. Mark my words.

You might want to reword that post. I'm surprised it hasn't been yanked yet.

This is good on two counts. The first is that the taxpayers of California were spared the expense of housing Mr. Paradiso for the next 50 years. The second is that the judge will never again view criminal cases as some antiseptic review of data and process.

Why?
I honestly think there are a whole lot of judges that could use a butt whoopin. Or at least placed in public stocks in the village square.
Especially those like Ms. Ginsberg that advocate murdering babies.

...fear might be good for a judge.

A divorce judge was shot last year in my hometown (he lived). The consensus of the jury was that although the perp was guilty, the judge deserved it.

He’ll get out on appeal.

Apparently, the courts don’t give a damn if these guys attack you, but when you attack one of theirs, they have no sense of humor.
