Nice Graphics.Unfortunately we have No idea what the rules were prior to this engagement,Whether it was guns only or what.If this were an actual combat engagement that f-18 Growler would have been smoked before his radar even picked up the Raptors radar signature.

If it was guns only how many dog fights occurred? Not to disparage the navy pilot but he could have had just good luck or the Raptor pilot could have just screwed up en an engagement. It can and will happen. Pilots are human, they're not perfect. All the more reason to build more f-22’s then they have allotted spending for.

Nice but not an actual kill. . .as the aircraft (F-18) was already dead well before the merge.

The F-22 was ignoring the guy because the guy was DEAD and should have exited the fight well before the merge but the guy ignored ROE and went in anyway.

No way would the F-18 get that close, or any other fighter out there, if the fight was real. F-22’s don't merge. . .why should they, they can kill from a distance and if they have to, they will close for guns and the victim won't even see them coming.
