US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton yesterday declared Washington's "unshakeable" support for Israel as she heralded a dramatic escalation in the US's involvement in the Middle East.
In her first visit to Israel as the US's senior diplomat, Ms Clinton immediately announced that Washington was sending two officials to Damascus for talks with Syria -- closely aligned with Iran and a country with which the previous administration had no official contact.

How daring!
How utterly, utterly useless.

“The kiss of death - literally.”
Bingo. If I were an Israeli, I’d say nuke Iran, now.
Israel better not count on anything until the White Hut is occupied by some other tenant. I certainly don’t.
Paging Mr. Murray, Mr. Bill Murray, your agent is paging you about a sequel, sequel, sequel . . . .

US promises 'unshakeable' support
America's new drama queen. The economy can burn, you'll find Hillary and The One fiddling in the Middle East. Before making this the cornerstone of our foreign policy, they should ask GWB how that worked out for him and Condi. Better yet, ask Dennis Ross and Bubba. The Arabs will take all that's offered, but can be trusted on nothing. Of course the administration could prove me wrong. The Saudis have a number of F15s based within 50 or so miles of the Israeli border, in violation of their purchase agreement. Perhaps The One and Her Thighness can get the Saudi's to move them back where they belong. Give Israel a little time to react to a rogue Saudi pilot pulling a 9/11 on Tel Aviv. Of course I don't mean to imply that a Saudi would fly a plane into a Zionist building.
I dreamed of 9-11 ten days before it happened: I had no idea what it meant.
I'm getting a bad feeling.
