The Fox Forum ^ | 03-03-09 | Tammy Bruce

Posted on 03/04/2009 1:13:58 PM PST by euram

Sarah Palin is a woman who means business when she talks of reform. The one person none of the boys in Washington like, she lives and works west of the Rockies (let alone the Mississippi), was educated at a university without Ivy on its walls, is not of the monied class, and actually intends to confront the corruption and hypocrisy emanating from both the Republican and Democratic parties.

I think the best way for the GOP to take back power is for party leaders like Sam Brownback to betray their base and endorse abortion extremists. 2012 or bust!

Sadly I bet some don't know if you are joking or not. On another thread I got nailed by multiple posters for saying its a bad idea for the GOP to become less conservative in order to get a few liberal women votes. They were not joking...

They have to be ready with solutions that work WHEN the economy further implodes. If that does not happen and the economy gets better, Obama keeps power and the GOP declines even more.

The whole article is a good read. As always, Tammy is spot on with her commentary. She cares about the country.

There has to be a common ground. Not with the extreme left but there are plenty of young conservative spenders with very democratic (not socialistic) views on politics. They just don’t know they have become a Republican yet. Trust me, I converted a 23 year old left winger this week. She simply had it wrong. Many of them start changing their tune when they see half of their paycheck REDISTRIBUTED. The future of this party is young conservative blood. We are out there. I’m one of the many.

Pull the plug and let it die then start a new real Conservative Party with a core group of conservative Repubs and Dems if there are any.

Good idea. What needs to be formed is a coalition of family middle class wage earners of both parties. The Greedy Old Party is the party catering to the top 20% of money owners and the Demoncrat party caters to the bottom 20% that rely on government money. That leaves 60% of voters who don’t rely on their money making money or government providing money for a Third Party.

There are two parties period.
Our opposition are the Democrats.
We support the Republicans and keep the conservatives
in the party as much in the front as possible.

Third Parties only get around 1 to 3% of the vote and always will. They take votes from Republicans.
Third Parties are the Democrats best friend.

Those who want to beat the Democrats need to focus on
the Democrats as the problem and beat them.
