Yes these Idiots do not realize that!

There are lots of reasons that lower the alledged IQ of any person.

Exactly. This is a stealth way of eliminating bullets - declare lead ones “poisonous”. You can’t use steel because that’s armor piercing. So you’re left with copper and tungsten.
Copper will be preferred (being about 1/100,000th the cost of tungsten), but will be dropped after 3-4 years for the same health reasons.
Leaving tungsten bullets as the only choice. And of course, no one can afford $35.00 per .22LR bullet, let alone a $150.00 230 grain 45!
And then we have the stealth repeal of the 2A. All done via environmental regulations, not a single limit on firearms needed!

This reminds me of the unintentionally hillarious TV ad for that hearing aid that looks like a cheap bluetooth. In one sequence, the announcer says, “It lets hunters hear game before the game hears them.” The camera then pans-down an actor wearing jungle camo (!) until you see he has nothing in his hands. This guy hunts bare-handed! What a guy! No evil guns for him! PeTA wants all weapons banned in hunting — just you and the animal and your bare hands. LOL! Let’s start with lobster dinners. Just you and a live lobster in your plate. No silverware, just you and nature!

This is all about infringement and incrementalism using enviro concerns as a straw dog.
I live in the lower central valley in CA. Almost all my hunting grounds have come under a lead ammo ban. I have three .17 cal rifles that are completely useless to me now due to theis ban.

WTH do I care what type of bullets a hunter uses unless he tries to force me to use the same?

Actually I shoot copper solids at game. I am thinking of getting a little jeweler's lathe to make pure bronze rounds for long distance target shooting. So ultimately this is just another episode of libtards being idjits but it allows them to have yet another "small victory" in their "long march" (which needs to be stopped IMHO).

Leaving you with, well, rubber, maybe plastics?I see pine wood in our future followed by a switch to balsa wood.

No, actually the copper colored bullets we use now will do just fine!
Seriously, the frickin' gun grabbers will use any trick they can to disarm us. Don't fall for this sh**!

“Lead is a toxic metal that can lower the IQ’s of children”
Yep,it sure can, if the children are EATING the bullets. And frankly, if the kids are eating bullets, their IQ’s are already too far gone from the git go.

I bit into a lot of lead birdshot over the years (If there is one pellet left in the critter, I seem to get it). I'm a great-grandpa now, and still can think better than any two democrats. Maybe they need to quit chewing on tenement paint and gnaw on the real thing. I hit a pheasant out at 50 yards once. I thought I was the best shot alive. I couldn't see where I had hit it, but when it was cooked up and served I found out, one pellet had hit it, most likely in the heart, and I found that pellet!
The thing is, and I know you meant this for your point, lead pellets, lead bullets, are not hurting the game or the people. It is just another way to try and stop people from owning guns.

Of course they will have to ban lead in police and military use.
Then the perps will be the only ones with lead.

Good thing you put those last few sentences in because I was getting ready to rip you big time! The sarc tag wasn't needed, just the last few statements!
An old hunter checks in. Hunting since I was 9 years old. Loved it then and love it now.

There is an advantage to having a well designed all copper bullet like the Barnes Triple Shock, instead of a traditional expanded mushroom the bullet now expands into a churning quadrupled petal "propeller" that retains almost all of its mass and delivers a massive wound, I use them in my hunting reloads for Alaska big game.
