To: Choose Ye This Day
This is a bigger issue than Rush by himself. It is a Alinsky's "Rule for Radicals" type of attack to discredit all Conservatives. Right now Rush is the target.

Yes, Rush is the target, but why can’t that be turned back on Obama and his minions? They are seeking to discredit him by declaring him to be the leader of the (failed) Republican Party and to drive a wedge in the party between conservatives and liberals. But in the eyes of all of us conservatives, Rush is a hero. If Rush ran for President as the nominee of a newly formed Conservative Party, Obama would have to change his tactics, since Rush would be a valid leader of a large segment of voters. Obama (and the media) would be forced to acknowledge him as a valid opponent (and eventually debate him). I’m just thinking that there’s got to be a way of foiling these people and beating them at their own game. Where is the flaw in my thinking (other than the fact that Rush probably wouldn’t want to run)?
