There are scads of people out there who have never listened to Rush and who take their opinion of him from the mainstream media. Twenty-two million listeners is quite a lot, but it pales in comparison to the number of non-listeners whose opinion of Limbaugh is based on no actual experience whatsoever.

One of them is always playing AirAmerica/Pacifica/DemocracyNow crap on his computer, booming it out over big speakers.
The other day a couple of people said they'd like to hear Rush's CPAC speech so this Top Leftist dude keys up the program but before Rush even begins to speak, before the introduction of Rush is even over, Top Leftist dude says "I can't listen to this gas bag" and turns it off.
I saw the look on his face when he did it. It was pure fear. Fear of actually having to THINK.
And he was having none of it.
It was a very revealing moment.

Exactly. Now, maybe their curiosity will impell them to give an ear and listen to Rush. We should certainly hope so.
Approximately 68% of the voters in this country are conservative or somewhat conservative. If all of them listened to Rush Limbaugh, and thanks to the overly-clever Democrats who hatched this nefarious plan, Rush just might convince 68% of the voters to go out this next election in 2010 and sweep a Repulican controlled Congress back into Washington, D.C.!!!
