Yes, Obama might try to impose some weird martial law on the US if the economy starts to fall apart and the Red states say NO to more federalization of state controls on the lines of the new “badget” - but it is more likely that the US will get rid of Obama than break-up.

Unfortunately, there's no formal legal way for Americans to rid ourselves of an incompetent leader other than impeachment, which was intended as a remedy for illegal behavior and not incompetence.
