My guess -- and that's all it is, a guess -- is that this SCOTUS will say it's up to the Congress whether or not to recognize gay marriage.

From the beginning of this movement to allow gays to marry each other it was obvious it was not about “love and committment,” but about MONEY! They tried to fool the public into having an emotional reaction to their “plight” and desire to enjoy being a “married” couple. When, in reality, all they wanted was the tax advantages. Anyone who believed anything else was stupid.

Yep! We'll end up with a federal judicial fiat ordering all 50 states to sanction same-sex “marriage”, to provide these couples with full benefits, etc. The federal Justice Department will then assume control of state marriage laws and policies to insure “non-discrimination.”

The libertarians will pat themselves on the back and say that's better than adding a federal marriage amendment to the Constitution defining marriage as between a man and a woman, as it always has been. That amendment would have violated “states’ rights”.

If your guess happens and they do legalize Fag marriage in all 50 states by Federal Fiat along withe a few other socialist moves, the only way out would be for Civil War II, which I am completely torn whether or nor it could ever happen.
