RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

RULE 8: "Keep the pressure on. Never let up." Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

RULE 10: "If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive." Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

The most instructive thing to me through the whole campaign was a show that Mark Levin did in October. October 14th or something. He went through Rules for Radicals over 2 hours and it showed how and why Zero was operating. It was so insightful I made 5 of my friends who never listen to Levin hear it. Everyone kind of woke up to the trickery of his language and his tactics.

It’s War on you, your family, your savings, your job, and your lifestyle. They want everyone in this country to be dirt poor and fighting with each other so we can beg at the feet of a ruling elite.

Barack Obama's push: Make Rush Limbaugh appear to be the face of the GOP

Be careful what you wish for Kenyan.

You may have fooled 66,882,230 into voting for you with your song and dance, but Rush alone has 20,000,000 loyal radio followers. And there's tens of millions of like minded 'others' who can't listen to him.

And mr pretender-in-chief, while you're using Alinsky's 'Rules for Radicals', Rush is following - and he may not even know it - a major principle from someone considerably more knowledgeable than you or your 'hitman', Rahm Emmanuel, and that's Sun Tzu. Sun Tzu's 'rule #1' is...

"If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles."

Trust me Barry, Rush 'knows the enemy' and he for sure 'knows himself' - so its a battle you really don't want.

If the dems were smart, they would just ignore Rush. But they are so completely and arrogantly sure they are right about everything, that they cannot resist blabbing their big mouths.

The problem is, despite Rush’s huge audience, millions have never actually listened to Rush. But by elevating awareness of Rush, the dems may be encouraging more people to actually tune in! After folks do listen to Rush for any length of time, many find out that Rush stands for and defends their own beliefs.

Case in point, my 25 year old son(who has never listened to the radio show) was visiting over the weekend, actually arrived on Saturday in the middle of Rush’s speech we were watching on Fox. He sat down and listened to the rest of his talk. When it was over, my son said, “wow, that was inspiring!”. Then, yesterday, he texted me to ask what station Rush was on.

So, again, if I were the dems, I would just shut up about Rush.

OK, We need to fight back. Here is my recommendation. When anyone mentions Rush we say "The economy is dying and all the White House can do is launch a coordinated media attack campaign on a talk show host"

The LAST thing that Barack wants to do is point out that the head of the GOP is a black man. So instead he demonizes Rush Limbaugh.

His underings have already gone to making racist attacks on Bobby Jindal (offshored response, sounds like a gas station clerk, slumdog, etc.).

Rush should start always identifying Obama as “the face of the Democratic party.” Within a short time, perhaps even immediately, a lot of Dem politicians will be trying to duck and cover away from that association.

Yep, and Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, and Jeremiah Wright are the face of the DNC.

This is great. Thanks for posting Alinsky’s rules. Every time anyone from the left attempts to use them on anyone from the right, the response should be simply to quote the rules back to them, whether it be in news articles, discussion forums, tv shows etc. , quote the “rules” in any website comment forum, or quote them when writing to a reporter who resorts to them in a “news”article until everyone recognizes what is going on.

I would bet more than half of those who consider themselves liberals have no idea about Alinsky and that what Obama and the Clintons do and did directly follow his teachings.

I do hope that Governor Palin has a copy of the book and learns everything in it from cover to cover so she’ll know what’s coming her way before it gets there.

We should start calling people who are pushing this meme as "Rushers" the way the Left has been pushing "birthers" for those who question Obama's legitimacy.

The people who fight the "birthers" using the argument of Obama Derangement Syndrome are justifying the claim by the fact that no court has accepted a legal challenge without actual evidence. The lack of evidence is only a high bar in courtroom appeals. As we see here in the MSM, they are trying to portray Limbaugh as the head of the GOP without evidence, only to set him up as the boogeyman for their attacks. Yet we shy away from accusing Obama as being the illegitimate leader of the Democrat party because we can't prove it in a court of law.

Every time someone in the court of public opinion claims that Limbaugh is the face of the GOP, we should respond that Obama is a Constitutionally unqualified president. Then let that lead into a presentation of facts to support both claims.
