‘Imputed Income’ could be the next brick in the socialist wall.

Is the socialist wall bulletproof?

Someone else has probably said this, but CafePress.com offers every type of sticker imaginable plus shirts et al. Yes, they are on all sides of the issues but they have great anti-Obama stuff and more of it as weeks go by.

Page after page of these things — have a look!

Re: “She will have to lower her income to zero because in the end Zero will tax anyone making more then $1”

***********

Unfortunately you are probably correct — Zero’s gubmint wants everyone 100% dependent on them — no assets, no nothing that might encourage independent thought.

Re: “How is “fair” even a word to use to describe trying to lower your taxes? Are we already in a communist country?!”

************

The word “fair” has rankled me for decades. I learned from a wise teacher long ago that NOTHING in life is “fair” and people need to stop whining. “Fairness” Doctrine comes to mind. Now we also have “fair” in describing taxation.

Get a clue Zero, “fairness” plays no part in anything beyond schoolyard turn-taking at hopscotch. Grow up!!!

Re: “...this is silly. Make as much money as you can, don’t pay your taxes, and wait for an Obama Cabinet post (semi-sarcasm)”

**********

I half-jokingly suggested not paying taxes yesterday — how can the gubmint come after anyone when half the cabinet members of this dangerous “administration” are tax cheats or worse?

RE: “I still will find something to give to Animal Friends.”

**********

Of course — we all have our favorite charities and will continue giving to them as best we can. Many animal groups look for volunteers and goods like blankets and pet food as well as for money. Unfortunately most “charities” will get less overall, as people zero in on one or two favorites.

Anyone know where I can get a “Who is John Galt” bumper-sticker?

How about an ' I am John Galt ' sticker?

It appears some people here are taking you seriously with the “bottom feeder” remark. I took it as sarcasm; was I not correct? :)

I’m sure CafePress has that sticker; I got a tee shirt from them with that statement on it: “I Am John Galt”

"The motivation for a lot of people like me – dentists, entrepreneurs, lawyers – is that the more you work the more money you make," said Poczatek. "But if I'm going to be working just to give it back to the government -- it's de-motivating and demoralizing."

Ya know, things like this ought to elicit a congenial, "Well, duh." Unfortunately, the Obamabots absolutely do not get this idea at all. All the moocher class can focus on is a cash cow that they're determined to milk in perpetuity.

Won’t work, he’ll just lower the cutoff to $150,000

And keep lowering it until you can’t afford to cut your business back.

Socialism doesn’t care about capitalists.

Is it fair for people to reduce high salaries to sidestep President Obama’s tax proposal?

Yes. I also would find ways to decrease my salary to avoid taxes. 5,450

Yes. Why should ordinary folks, even those making $250K, pay when big corporations get bailed out. 2,049

No. The rich have had too many tax breaks. They should be ashamed for finagling the system. 511

No. I have to pay high taxes and so should that high-income bracket. They can afford it. 239

Good point! You are right in that many deductions are based on AGI limits. However in general, the tax tables are based on incremental tax rates for each tax bracket.

Hey!!! They changed much of the original story.

I was going to post a joke saying the ABC head editor must of taken a sick day for this story to get through.

But I guess I was right because look at the link now, they rewrote much of the story

They even say they do
Editor's Note: Yesterday ABC News published a version of this story which some readers felt did not provide a comprehensive enough analysis of Obama's tax code for those families making $250k or more. ABCNews.com has heard those concerns and after review has decided to post an updated version of the story below.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When have they ever "heard those concerns" and changed a anti-Bush/Republican story that "some readers felt did not provide a comprehensive enough analysis"

Son of a b@#&*(s

Whose got the ping list for S@#* like this???
