Frankly, Steele was not my choice for head of the RNC. I agree with Rush that Steele thinks that he some talk show host or pundit. Ken Blackwell is a true conservative, and very smart. I remember the first time that I heard him speak on Hannity’s show, Blackwell was trying to explain the dangers of Black Liberation Theology, and Hannity cut him off.

Blackwell gets it. Steele, doesn’t.

I rooted for Steele as RNC Chair. At this point I would rather have the racist country club guy.

Blackwell threw his support behind Steele when it was clear he was out of the running for the Steele’s position. Blackwell is complicit.
