I’ve listened to him everyday since October 2005.
Clearly, I’m on Rush’s side on the whole flap, but I don’t want a wedge driven between the conservative base and the GOP. That just ensures Democrat victories.

If you WERE on Rush's side like you say, you would want to drive not only a wedge between but a stake into the heart of the RINO Republican Party as it is today. On the contrary we need to kill the Rep. Party as it is and start a new Conservative Party.

Clearly on his side? ROFL Is that why you rip him whenever you see an opportunity? Your comments are as worthless as those of Steele's. Rush speaks the truth. Rush stands on principles. Rush does what limp-wristed, wimpy republicans won't - he stands up for himself and what he believes - CONSERVATISM. Yet, you say Rush is playing right into Rahm and Obama's hands? What an idiot! Acting like a scared rabbit (i.e., STEELE) is what Rahm and Obama want. Do you really think they want conservatives standing up and speaking the truth like Rush is doing? Give me a freakin' break.

There is no cutting corners with the truth. If there are not enough people who understand the truth, we need to point out the folly of lies from the sidelines. Truth may just have to be proven true again before it comes back into favor.

I don't think you would personally be driving that wedge. The GOP itself has been doing that for some time now. By choice.
