If I was a Catholic hospital director I would announce that I would not take the money. And, then announce the closing date.

There is one bishop who has said that he will close down, and there are others who have said they will go to jail, I hope they are serious.

I sense quite a few doctors easing into early retirement over this issue (not to mention the national health care boondoggle).

If I were a Catholic hospital administrator I'd do two things ~ (1) Not respond to inquiries regarding abortions, and (2) Make arrangements with trusted people to insure that no pro-abortion Democrat Catholic politician who ever checked in never checked out.
There are ways Guido, there are ways!

Justin Cardinal Rigali, here in Philadelphia, has announced that if FOCA passes -- or if Catholic hospitals are told they must perform abortions -- that he will shut all of the Catholic hospitals in the Archdiocese down. Period.
I hope he keeps his word.
