Former Massachusetts Governor and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney tells Newsmax that the Democrats massive stimulus package is laden with pet liberal projects that wont help the economy at all.
He also asserts that President Barack Obama is actually hurting the economy in two ways and said Republicans in the Senate are close to having no voice whatsoever.

Notice how little discussion there is on the topic at hand. You’d think some don’t want to admit Romney has a point.

Yep. And the pic and how they state their views are disrespectful, tasteless and classless.

Do I need to guess which pic? ;-)

I especially like this:
Well focus our energies on helping get conservatives re-elected and hopefully expanding our position in the Senate, where were awfully close to having no voice whatsoever.
Notice how he uses the word “we'll.”

Hopefully we can build up a small cushion in the Senate next year. We can start by seating Coleman.

You know, I agree with your assessment of Ron Paul. It’s too bad he comes off like a cross between John the Baptist and the wild man of Borneo, when the country seems to be looking for a more comely messiah.

Dave Horsey, a cartoonist from the very far left.Horsey trashes our military, trashed President Bush, and anything conservative. A true blue commie.Very poor choice on your part.

Let's hope Norm Coleman's lawyers can put on a solid case. Having someone like Franken in the Senate would be a disgrace.

Some people around here can't bring themselves to admit when someone is correct or is in agreement with them on an issue. People like that just need to be avoided.

Thank you for that valuable information, xero.
I wasn't aware that it was that person's cartoon (of all people).

You know, I gotta tell all you brave freepers out there, if you can't give a reformed Romney a second chance, I don't know if we're going to find an alternative decent national candidate that can garner enough democrats and independents to put down the O-siah. I think given the landscape out there, we had better decide real quick about choosing the lesser of two weevils fast or we may just find ourselves squabbling America right down the tubes for good.

I’m not sure.
I like Mitt, but he’s sort of damaged goods.
He should probably stay out of the spotlight, and focus on his state.

If we don’t make ground in the next two elections, I fear it will be decades before we recover. But, I’m hopeful in that I feel anger, not just discontent, brewing.

Actually there is a difference: look at the left arm and the hair. It’s pretty dumb though.

The upcoming overreach on health care and “green” jobs will be telling.
Good night for tonight!
