Every FReeper who did nothing but vote -- who didn't volunteer on campaigns, who didn't contribute to campaigns (forget the GOP parties) -- is partially responsible for this.

Even a small amount, over the many who would otherwise do nothing, counts. I have seen campaigns starve to death for lack of volunteers and lack of money, and to see the VERY close margins of defeat season after season, well.. it is discouraging.

If conservatives are SO indifferent to their future, why should I try to support them any more?

Which is the way to Galt's Gulch?

That horse is pretty high and for those of us who did all we could, be it simple phone calls or yard signs, we are suffering too.

Some of us have suckling babies and elders who fought in wars to care for. We do what we can. And don’t need to be chastised by some one wwwwaaaayyyy up there.

The Republican's, who we all worked hard to put into office starting in 1996, are responsible for this, nobody else. They had the chance to transform the country and they blew it thru their own irresponsible spending, not standing up to the media and drinking the DC Kool-Aid.

Do you stand by the same statement to account for the politics in your own state?
