Indeed he did. Rush is content to be the tar baby and could not care less who disagrees. His intent was to re-awaken conservatives to the basics of Life, Liberty and Freedom. The rest is just busy work around the edges to him.

Your comment jogged something in my memory. In September 1993,
National Review did a cover story on Rush Limbaugh titled "Leader of the Opposition". The cover showed Limbaugh in the House of Commons dressed in a frock coat like a member of Parliament.
We may be for a return to old times.
