I’ve seen only one 2009 movie......a trailer on Youtube. That gave me enough info to decide it wasn’t worthy of my money.

Slum Dogs is a go see. Bollywood film actors. Deserved to win. I learned from the Bielski Brothers in Defiance-the survival of the fittest. The Reader was also excellent-again was about functional illiteracy, Nazi & war crimes. Gran Torino (Walt Kowalski) was very good. International was good. Taken is a go see to those that send their daughters off to Europe "alone". And believe it or not--Confessions of a Shopaholic (not mindless as one would think) is about debt and how it can effect the job market-good youth lesson film. There are really some good films out there. The Wrestler -The Ram" Robinson played by Mickey Rourke (80's)-was also excellent and Rourke should have won best actor over Harvey Milk, gay socialist activist. Did not bother to see the latter, however-what was there to learn?
