I like revenge movies and no one does it better than Eastwood. The twist was okay with me based upon what his character was going through. Fit the situation. He’s really not up to Dirty Harry and Josie Wales anymore, but he did a good job on this one.

He did a good job, which is why I gave it a 3. But it didn’t end with justice being served, and that was disapointing.
The bad guys got away with a slap on the wrist.

I disagree. We don’t see the final act of justice being carried out, but it seems obvious what is going on.

The tax incentives are an attempt to stem run-away productions. Keeping more production in California is good for everyone. Not everyone that works in Hollywood is a liberal/Lefty.

It matters not a twit. We need our Stalin to get rid of these Bukharanists. The radical lefties don’t realize that principled communists would like to liquidate them as well. Communism isn’t a socialist paradise, it’s a disciplined spartan sharing of misery. That will be coming soon enough. They always eat their own once they have power the purges will begin, it’s the nature of the game.

Productions in Canada seem to be better than LA anyway. In Sci-fi alone; SG-1, Battlestar, the first seasons of X-files, all were excellent. X-files went downhill the moment it came back to LA.

At least it’s not in the Federal giveaway package.

I'm saying that given the location (in a suburb of Detroit MI) which is a 50+ year Blue suburb inside a 50+ year Blue county, located inside a 50+ year state, history tells us THAT isn't going to happen. The Liberal virus has destroyed too much for even hope of that.
If it did, Detroit wouldn't be considered one of the murder capitals of the world.

If Hollywood is getting bailout money, shouldnt the Hollywood stars be subject to the salary caps applied to corporate executives in bailed out companies?Yep, looks even better in bold.

The tech industry is fleeing California. The aerospace industry has fled California. Even the green-tech industry is threatening to leave.
Should we subsidize them all?

Slum Dogs is a go see. Bollywood film actors. Deserved to win. I learned from the Bielski Brothers in Defiance-the survival of the fittest. The Reader was also excellent-again was about functional illiteracy, Nazi & war crimes. Gran Torino (Walt Kowalski) was very good. International was good. Taken is a go see to those that send their daughters off to Europe "alone". And believe it or not--Confessions of a Shopaholic (not mindless as one would think) is about debt and how it can effect the job market-good youth lesson film. There are really some good films out there. The Wrestler -The Ram" Robinson played by Mickey Rourke (80's)-was also excellent and Rourke should have won best actor over Harvey Milk, gay socialist activist. Did not bother to see the latter, however-what was there to learn?

Tom Hanks ..check out his My Space page, scroll down..to see who his friends are. Then go to a recognizable particular person (link in)to see their last sign in and wonder how this person has the time.

All but the last two seasons of X-Files were done in Canada. Canada is cheap and the people are friendly about stuff like closing down streets.

the worst part is that All these Hollywood ninnies as well as the Studios frequently use PRIVATE JETS. Warner Bros has 4 gulfstreams. Amend the tax breaks so that Only Companies who do not use Private Jets EVER qualify, and that no person or persons shall earn more than $250,000 per year . If they can’t agree to that than tuff.
