I have never seen (heard) Rush cry on the air. Beck is an emotional basket case.
I think that we came VERY close to it last night... If you watched carefully once his speech was over, during the award presentation, he appeared to be very close to tearing up at least twice: The first time when they announced that the document they were presenting him was signed by Benjamin Franklin (and pretty much said that he was "our" Franklin, today), and then when they said, "Yes, this is the real thing." Also, did you notice how Rush made light of it and quickly got off stage? That's WAY out of character for Rush - the ducking off stage part. I am pretty sure he needed to get off-stage as quickly as possible, because he didn't want to give the leftist enemy any sort of ammunition to use against him showing "weakness."
