Antioquia is a GREAT region of Colombia and you are right about the paisa. They are indeed very hard-working and entrepreneurial. The paisas I know in this country are all LEGAL...and are conservative. ;-)
Here in Tampa we have a street called Armenia Ave which is lined with numerous Colombian businesses, nearly all of which are owned by paisas. Remind me a bit of the early Cuban refugees, industrious and conservative.
