Well, as much as I HATE to say it, it “can” happen.
Have the majority of people believing in the Leader, keep indoctrinating the young, and then WE become the small minority.
THEIR WAY overruns OUR WAY as we progressively have smaller numbers and there you go.
Sorry, but we HAVE TO STEP UP AND STOP THIS CRAP or it’ll be a tidal wave that can wipe us out.

I’ve been saying for a decade that churches need to prepare for an increasing hostile environment and learn to live on much less finacing. Including learning to make use of buildings like empty retail space, closed warehouses, etc... and led by pastors and staff who have other means of employment.
But the events of the past four months have caused my head to spin.
I fully expect that the socialist libs will go after churches on several fronts:
1) Lawsuits accusing hate-speach for preaching against homosexuality and abortion (ACLU)
2) It will likely go all the way to the Supreme Court, which by that time will be more liberal too.
3) Followed by revoking tax-exempt status for churches found guilty of promoting hate crimes.
This might take another decade, but it will happen.
Yes, that will always hang over churches that are tax exempt. There's a way around that. Give up the tax exempt status and preach what you want to preach.
I am a church member and would love to see my church do that. It won't happen though.
I work at a liberal private school. Students there are openly questioning Obama saying: but isn’t this socialism?

I think I read this story in a Chick tract called “The Last Days”.
After five decades of avoiding organized religion, I am considering joining a congregation, if I can find one not full of A$$HATS and actually following the teachings of Christ the Savior.
I remember a hilarious “article” a few years ago from the Onion. It was interviews with contemporary Europeans about Christians. They talked about them like it was something out of the distant past, and Cathedral architecture was seen as something mystical like Stonehenge. Sadly the reason it was so funny was that it is grounded in so much truth.
“But Grandpa… the statues of Mother Pelosi, Father Frank, and Father Reid looking up at the Leader all look very happy,” insisted Max.
I keep my barf bag right beside me these days because everytime I read the news I need to use it!
I agree with you, this COULD happen, in fact, if we don't do something IMMEDIATELY this will come to pass a lot sooner than we think. God help us all, oh wait, am I still allowed to say that? I don't hear anyone knocking on my door....yet.
