The concerns about Romney are legitimate. He has no real conservative record to fall back on. Just words. I choose to believe those words, and I choose to believe Ann Coulter, and I choose to believe anyone McCain hates so much is probably a fine conservative. But convincing others to accept that is difficult without a record.

We should be having this conversation while a President Romney figures out how to cut taxes for 100% of Americans, build real borders as quickly as possible, and plans the next course of action to defeat terrorism.

But no, all you Romney bashers and McCain supporters blew it. You chose instead to open a clear path to installing Barack Hussein Obama into the executive mansion. How’s that for criticism?

“How’s that for criticism?”

Pretty weak. It took you three posts to even say anything remotely constructive. And even then you had to pull out the daggers.

Watch out. You’ll get what’s come to me. Ironic because, what you don’t realize is while you’re strangling me, we are in the same boat and about to get capsized by the incoming SS Vendetta.

Dumb, empty headed BS!

Obama becoming President is not my fault, nor is it the fault of conservatives who supported Fred Thompson or Duncan Hunter. Free Republic was a public bullhorn warning everyone what would happen if Republicans didn't unite and support the strongest conservative candidate.

I have my doubts anyone could have beaten Obama under the circumstances. Bush and the GOP Congressional leaders totally abandoned the conservative agenda and started pushing moderate policies. Also, the GOP was ripped apart by liberals and moderates alike --- Giuiliani, McCain, Romney and Huckabee come to mind. LOL That is what really destroyed the GOP's chances in both 2006 and 2008

Romney is a pathetic joke. His last minute political conversion on the eve of running for POTUS, wasn't genuine at all and left most conservatives even more opposed to him. Willard's $55-million garnered him a 3RD place finish in the GOP primaries. BFD! Romney is all about political expediency, not principled conservatism.
