I support Romney, and I don’t really see how 20% of a CPAC straw poll translates into a 2012 front runner. I think it is rather weak showing, actually.

It's how it happens. Barack Obama became the front runner in 2008 by winning the Ottawa caucus.

(Come to think of it Huckabee and Romney topped that one too.)
