Conservative activists on Saturday named former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney the winner of a poll for best 2012 GOP presidential candidate.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won 20 percent of the vote in straw poll for presidential favorites.
The poll marked the third consecutive year Romney came out on top
No, I was saying “YEAH!!!” to me in reverse, Lady GOP.
How’d you like all of his bots on here putting out the disinformation since late last year that “he wasn’t running again !” ? Same lies, same Slick Willard farce. Well, we’re just gonna have to take out the TRASH again.
I hope a business guy runs (Not Romney- he’s a politician first). I don’t know, Forbes or someone.
Mitt Romney IS a businessman first.
Con-men always are.
Forbes is a geek. Mitt is a businessman not a career politician.
Forbes may be a “geek,” but he is a good and smart geek. :-)
Ok, he’s a likeable geek. ;-)
Throw in Haley Barbour, too, if you want to list folks I would support before Mitt. He’s not quite as much of a RINO as McQueeg, but McQueeg was a legitimate war hero, deserving of respect for his military service alone. Take away Mitt’s RINO status, and what’s left?
Not enough for me to get enthusiastic about, so, yeah, pick Mitt and we lose in 2012, too. I say that because I’m fairly easily impressed by a conservative willing to run again O. If I’m not convinced by Mitt, independents won’t be swayed at all. Been there, done that 2006, 2008.
There are no serious and credible judges who adopt a strict constructionist view of the USC. Conservatives have a strange habit of tripping over this.
I think you mean a Constitutional originalist approach.
Slick Willard is the grim reaper. Kills everything he touches (’cept for the Democrat party and Socialist agenda, he makes ‘em grow like crazy).
Of the 10 people listed in the Straw Poll, only ONE has military service to the country he wants to lead!
Bain Capital did well under him and so did many companies because of that.
Bingo.
I agree....Romney is DOA.
How did Brian and Beverly Mauck do because of him ?
Ron Paul?
Yes, he turned Massachusetts around from the red to being in the black.
He also turned the Olympics around.
Rush likes him. Beck likes him. Coulter likes him.
He is smart.
And true, he does not look like Howdy Doody....and isnt weak.
“.....he’s dead on arrival.”
I agree. Speaking for myself, I will not vote for him.
