That county sheriff job launched Eisenhower’s career.

That’s called a concession. You’re supposed to reward my honesty by being gracious. /common etiquette

Now I know you are going to say something about Rudy. I wrote a whole big paragraph. Don’t disappoint me. ;-)

“Maybe because you’re a liberal ?”

I can see why after having said what you’ve said would draw that conclusion but you are wrong. I’ve already explained how I came to backing McCain - with reluctance at first - and I’m not going to do it again for the umpteenth time. I am a conservative. I would not be here if I weren’t.

I was gracious. You want a treat? LOL I said, no more RudyMcRombee's. That is as far as I'll go.

I could have a field day chewing on Rooty Toot. Other then his law and order policies, there is nothing attractive about Giuliani. You offered the caveat that his fiscal policy was good for NYC standards. I'll buy that, but he's still no conservative.

Ok, he cleaned up NYC, he governed as a relative fiscal conservative. What more do you want? Pro-life? Yes, but he’s still pretty good then. What’s the beef?

LOL, I don’t need to remind you that Ronald Reagan tapped Rudy to be both No.3 in the DoJ and to be DA for the prestigious SDNY.

I like Petraeus a lot and he might make a very attractive dark horse nominee. I am open to that.

Let me ask you a rhetorical question: would a liberal back Sarah Palin to the hilt as the nominee? I would. Proudly.

"What I don’t want to hear is dogs on top of cars and wives’ donations and a corrupt judge."

I never accused the judge of corruption. Corruption would mean payoffs. This person willfully was pro-criminal. They literally don't believe there is anything wrong with that. Slick Willard didn't see anything wrong, either. He had that pressing lunch engagement at Ruth's Chris. But what you seem to have an aversion to is illuminating the records of the RINOs you support. You were similarly thin-skinned about Juan.

"I did favor a McCain/Romney ticket. And why not? The economy was a big issue and Romney has a perceived strength on it."

A perceived "strength" ? Based on a repeated falsehood. Like "hope and change." The dirty secret is that he was a terrible Governor on every front and left wreckage that his Democrat friends are having to clean up. And you want to feed his gargantuan ego and give him a promotion for deliberate incompetence. You're really a piece of work.

You can call yourself whatever you want. What you are is something vastly different.

I was born and raised in NYC and have first hand knowledge of many "Giuliani" types. Giulaini is a liberal Republican, a Rockefeller Republican. He ain't no conservative --- fiscal or any other kind.

>>>>>LOL, I don’t need to remind you that Ronald Reagan tapped Rudy to be both No.3 in the DoJ and to be DA for the prestigious SDNY.

LOL Need I remind you, that in post #245, I covered his L&O credentials and said they were his most attractive attribute and also his only positive attribute.

You preferred Slick Willard for VP and you prefer him for President. That’s your agenda. You’ve already thrown Conservatism, the Maucks, Slick’s wife, and President Reagan under the bus, and Palin is in the way, she’s gotta go, too.

“You were similarly thin-skinned about Juan.”

Not at all. I stuck around and ran out every ground ball in a methodical, orderly, and calm fashion. LOL, just who is being thin-skinned?

But once again I asked for the evidence and you didn’t provide any - you only went back to that red herring the incompetant judge. You said Romney was more dihonest than the Clintons. That he was a grand deceiver, ultimate con man, and so much more. Show me the evidence. Chapter and verse. I’m captive and I’m still waiting.

I’m not going to be distracted by these side converstions - they can wait. Show me the evidence. I want chapter and verse.

I’ll throw “Slick Willard” under the bus when I see chapter-and-verse evidence. You lay it on heavy, so give me heavy.

“President Reagan under the bus, and Palin is in the way, she’s gotta go, too.”

LOL, you’re a funny one aren’t you? I just said I would back Palin to the hilt, complimented Reagan on picking Rudy. I hope this isn’t sympomatic of anything. I don’t know the DSM.

Oh, in case I haven’t made it clear: show me the evidence.

That’s the evidence that Romney wants to implode the GOP from the inside? Try again.
