I support Romney, and I don’t really see how 20% of a CPAC straw poll translates into a 2012 front runner. I think it is rather weak showing, actually.
That’s not funny, troll.
I like Newt better than Romney, Palin, or Jindal. I hope he runs. Sure he’s got faults. But so do all the others. I thought his discussion at CPAC was far and away the best.
I don’t have any problem with Romney, but I would prefer that we float up a bunch of Reagan conservatives and see if any of them can get some traction.
Now, the hard part: Who would that be?
Looks like Palin is finished.
>> Is there anyone better? ....
Yes.
Oh sure, after Juan McRINO threw this past election to the ‘Rats, we should nominate another RINO, this time a one-term Governor of Massaholechusetts.
Uh uh, not for me.
*chuckle*
*LOL*
*snicker*
GO! Palin / Romney 2012 GO!
...Until the actual votes are counted.
I think it is a little too early to tell.
If she gets out in late 2009 and 2010 and raises money for Republicans and helps elects Republicans in 2010, she would be a contender. Nixon did just that (fund raised and campaigned in 1966) and came back in 1968.
Nahhh! No thanks.
Mitt was/is never big on being Governor, and governor, unlike others. Unlike Jindal, Mitt never did anything to ‘turn around’ Massachusetts. It was just a fluff resume punch card hole for him. Jindal is threatening in fact to dismantle the long time, entrenched Democrat party in Louisiana. Mitt didn’t, wouldn’t pick a fight with Democrats if his life depended upon it. Jindal will leave his state GOP vastly stronger. Mitt left his near extinct.
Mitt does have better hair. I’ll give him that.
So good looking. So vacuous.
I have been here on FR years longer than my screen name.
“Those who didnt show , are not contenders”
Maybe not for cpac straw polls, but what if one of them wins every republican voter poll since the 2008 election.
Apparently CPAC didnt think so.
