Mark Simone just announced on his radio show that legendary broadcaster Paul Harvey has passed away. He was 91 years old. No details yet.

My most vivid memory of Paul Harvey—from The Simpsons, season 6—narrating “Mr and Mrs Erotic American”:

I always thought the story about Paul Harvey being sent to Honolulu to cover the US Pacific fleet's move from Long Beach to Pearl Harbor was funny in a way.
His assignment ended shortly before 12/7/41 - poor ol' Paul Harvey the junior newsman missed the story of the century by a matter of weeks.

RIP Paul. Paul Harvey was the high point in an otherwise mundane world while I was working at a Dairy. We'd stop everything to listen to the Rest of the Story. It was the special time of day.
