Anybody else notice?
I did. It was obvious.
The cut occurred at the 1 hour 23 minute 19 second mark of the speech just after he said “new castrati that have lost their guts”.
I caught it...trying to compare with my first recording to see how much was cut out. C-spam up to their usual crap even cut the event short as Rush was being presented with the award.

I did! I’d seen the speech live, then again on C-SPAN with my husband. There was an obvious break in the film and you knew something had been edited. And I never heard the “castrati” word. Figured they took it out.
