I can't argue with that. But as I've said before, even Reagan started out as an FDR Democrat. I just want to consider everybody, because we NEED somebody.
True, Reagan was a Democrat in the 50’s, and changed to the Republican party before he ever held public office. As far as Steele is concerned, I can’t see him becoming the Conservative you or I want him to be. He’s already shown that he’s willing to denigrate Conservatives who speak out against liberals. His comments about Rush are nothing more than the same, old rhetoric that RINOS have been spewing for years now. They think we need to be civil, and get along with the left, and unfortunately, that’s one of the main reasons the GOP has gone down the tubes. For me, Steele’s comments have rendered him and the RNC, DOA.
