My friend in Salem, Ohio is taking her CCL class today and is having to use a 22 pistol because of the ammunition shortage.
Why is this going on and when will the manufactureres going to catch up, and will there be a glut and lower prices at some point?
I have read rumors that the Obama administration wants to ban the importation of "military" rifle ammunition and handgun ammunition (actually, they want to ban a lot more than that). Once importation is cut off, I imagine they will try to ban the production of ammo that contains lead, they will require each bullet to have a serial number and they will demand you turn in old ammo that does not have a serial number. These are all on the Democrats' wish list.
