(2nd LD) N. Korea pushing ahead with preparations to launch rocket: sources

By Sam Kim

SEOUL, Feb. 27 (Yonhap) -- North Korea appears to have begun assembling a rocket that it claims will carry a satellite into space, a South Korean source said Friday, despite warnings to stop what neighbors call preparations to test-fire a long-range missile.

"It appears that (North Korea) has begun assembling the rocket on the ground," the source said, expecting the work to be completed in a week at the earliest.

Hey LibLieSlayer,
Do any of our satellites have laser capability to fry this on the pad?
If so is that undetectable?

So, if this NK rocket, for whatever reason hits US soil, what will be zero’s reaction?

A: So sorry your space shot failed, here’s a few billion dollars and plans for one that works.

B: Your nuke warhead didn’t go off when it hit Honolulu so we are sending one that does work by B-2. It should arrive in about two minutes.

As much as it might seem to be a good idea to shoot down N. Korea’s missile, it would appear to be empty saber rattling by Obama. Remember Obama has vowed to kill any deployment of an anti-missile system and said he will not weaponize space. Shooting down a single N. Korean missile that poses no real threat will just heat up things in N. Korea. We had far more reason to shoot down Iran’s last satellite launch and did nothing. It would seem Obama only likes to bully the short fat guy with glasses, but won’t take on the big guy who is a threat.

I think that NoKo will in fact launch, and there will be absolutely no consequences when they do. All we can hope is that when this one fails it doesn’t fall on any populated areas; but even if it does there will still be no reaction other than a verbal lambasting.

I am sure Cobra Ball, Cobra Eye, Rivet Joint and other friends are very active in the region, sat. guys must be pouring the coffee and working 24/7 and then some.

Let's shoot this lil dong down the minute it goes up, and spread clear video footage of the kill around the world. Wouldnt that be something?

I only hope/wish the Japanese had the power to do it on their own, and act independently of President Obama on this one.

If Zero did nothing, and Americans were killed on US soil by something launched from the DPRK, I would think that our fine Senior Military Commanders at the top would have Constitutional back-up and moral wherewithall to morally and independently take “appropriate measures” to preserve The Republic and also deliver the necessary retaliatory action upon Pyongyang, Socialist Washington (currently enemy territory) and Foggy Bottom be damned. There are enough true career military patriots I am sure who would act and do the necessary.
