I live in a very small town deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas and I honestly don't know anyone who is NOT a clinger, bitter or otherwise. Fact is, most display a serenity derived from not having to live in or near one of the population center cesspools to make a living. On any given Sunday you'll find most of 'em bitterly sitting in one of the local houses of worship, usually without their guns. We have become civilized you see.
I personally know womenfolk who could have stood in the same arena with Annie Oakley and given a respectable accounting of themselves. My two daughters could very nearly fall into that group having been "abused" from an early age by allowing them to handle and use guns. I could run on for a while, but point being, for many households in this and the other flyover parts of the country, guns have no aura or mystique. They are just another tool, albeit a multipurpose tool that deserves a good deal more honor than our "general" government and media mouth breathers give 'em.
