The next best thing to a "peanut farmer" out of place.
I ran a comparison of the Dow over the first 30 days of the last 6 presidents. (Thanks yahoo finance!)
Surpisingly enough, Carter was the best. Dow wet up about 5-1/2% over his 1st 30 days. Obama was the worst, with the Dow down 15%. All of the others were pretty flat.
Now, I didn't look at entire terms.....just 30 days. The whole term would give a substantially different outcome, I think. :-)
