Yep, you are right.

I have been harping on the food production issue on FR for some time now.

Control the food, control the people.

Funny, just the other day there was a thread about the Ukrainian famine in the midst of plenty.

Your going to die someday,

Easy for you to joke about my longevity. I'll give you a tip I learned the hard way: Wear a mask if you are going to be working around any kind of agricultural dust, unless you want to get a flu that doesn't go away.

Not trying to jab, I'm a Mississippi farm boy. My dad with me working part time for him, had 800 acres of beans and cotton back in the 80’s. Just a bunch of hooey IMO.

I used to farm in Australia with my Dad. More than hooey if you ask me. Haven’t heard the word ‘hooey’ for years. Brings back good memories.

These guys are NUTS

Anyone who grew up in farm country knows that there are only two ways to comply with such regulations.

Farm inside

Don’t farm.

Personally I don’t like seeing America increasingly dependent on others, especially for food.

Isn’t it about time to tell these thugs to back off? Is it time for state leaders to kick these a**h***s out of the state? These tyrants are asking for trouble, are they not?

Let’s just outlaw farming and gardening and be done with it.

nope. let’s regulate and require permits for every little thing. that’s their plan anyway — expand governmental power.

The solution is simple, disregard the rule. If an enforcer shows up, give him a Clorox bath ti be sure he is disinfected

EPA spokeswoman Cathy Milbourn said the changes are not just a matter of regulating dust. They serve the public's well-being and, regardless of whether someone lives in a rural or urban area, the threshold for unsafe levels of dust in the air must remain consistent nationally.

"It's health-based," she said. "We don't look at a particular industry. The goal is to protect public health."

When counties reach "non-attainment" levels, it becomes a state's responsibility to bring the county back into acceptable levels.

Let's turn that same logic around:

People, trees, flowers, grass among all living things require sunlight so we must regulate anthropogenic shade that kills or stunts so much life.

Corn can't grow or produce food while in the shade, therefore tall office buildings in the big cities that block too much sunlight will have to be regulated.

Remember: "It's health-based," "We don't look at a particular industry. The goal is to protect public health."

If, for example, they couldn’t find anyone to work as an EPA inspector, it would stop.

Well then, just because of you and for the sole purpose of keeping you from feeling bad we will all just quit making dust.

You think none of us have a reaction to anything in excess? There are other people who can’t mow grass.

Here is a simple solution, don’t mow grass and stay away from dust.

At least we won’t get dusty while we starve.

I tell you what, you become a farmer and get the massive federal subsidies and share with me because they are not there.

There is also Valley Fever which is caused from spores in dust storms. You know nature is tough and if there were no farms there would still be natural grasses that could carry the spores.

Don’t worry too much because you’d likely starve before you caught anything bad, because I can guarantee you that farmers will not be able to control dust and if you can grow your food on cement, then more power to you...but I think cement dust is pretty caustic too.

There aren’t that many farmers in Iowa compared to non-farmers, I don’t live in Iowa but I know a lot of farmers and not one of them was for Obama.

If you will also notice, the bill was passed in 2006, do although Obama is a socialist pig, it isn’t the fault of his administration, it is the fault of government gone stupid.

I guess the only way to prevent farm dust is to stop farming all together.

The farmers in the USA this year should just all take a year off and quit farming.

The Israelites knewwhat to do with goobermint people sent by the King of Judah to rob them.

1 Kings 12:18

18 Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
