Obama can pass any bill in the next 2 years (I am afraid it may be next 40+ years) because US did not stop nation building in Iraq and Afganistan in early 2005.

Can a conservative be stupid enough not to understand this trivial matter?

The problem may be demographic and irreversible. If that’s the case than we really need to figure a way to take our marbles and go home. No marriage this bad would last fifteen seconds and everybody knows it.

Nation building in Afghanistan and Iraq was vital to our national security— just as it was after World War II.

There are a lot of things that contributed to this. ‘Nation building’ might be one if you want to call it that. Certainly a prolonged Iraq War contributed to 2006, and to 2008 to a lesser extent. The economic crisis probably is pretty high on the list since neither Bush, McCain or anyone else seemed to want to defend the economic record of the six years of growth before that, and refused to refute the argument that deregulation and tax cuts caused it. The GOP tried to go populist and point fingers at Wall Street instead of pointing towards the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.

I don’t want to “Conserve” the things the way they are.. .Likewise, I think the “Change” that is being pushed on is is the wrong one...

I want CHANGE for the better! More Liberties, More Freedoms, MORE JUSTICE! Righteousness! TRUTH! (Are these, or are they not, the American way?) Then, oh then, America might know peace.

Could you really be that stupid, or did you just forget the sarcasm tag?

Conservatives lost because there were no Conservatives to vote for.

Just K street liberal lite trash.

The political Left in this country must be destroyed, figuratively and literally, (exiling them to the South Pole during the middle of July comes to mind). No need to split the country in two.

The two ideologies are like oil and water, they don’t mix. One must destroy the other and soon.

Obama must be exposed before anything will matter. And by “exposed” I mean that his supporters must be DIRECTLY AND NEGATIVELY IMPACTED by his policies before it will matter. Also, they must believe it is his policies causing it.

I suspect they won’t believe it until it doesn’t matter - when those with guns and lots of stored food will be the ones on top.

No, it's because we did do that that the US was safe enough to allow the populace to vote themselves the keys to the treasury.

I wouldn’t bet on it.

Wonder what’s going to happen when Obama gets us into a quagmire in Afghanistan that he is not willing to win.

Actually, it was Mark Foley that got Nancy the Speakership in '06.

Look back and see. Conservatives were all for the war. But they wanted Hastert's head. Idiotic.

It’s not the conservatives who are stupid, it’s the liberals and the moderates who want to get along with them who are the GOP. No true conservative could stomach anything the messiah is doing. Maybe by 2010 enough people will be horrified and/or pissed off to the max by what the 0 is doing to hit the reset button on the republican party.

RE :”because US did not stop nation building in Iraq and Afganistan in early 2005.

You will get hate pings on this statement as I do. What you say is exactly true, at least for Iraq. Iraq caused multiple political problems that all came together in 2006 focusing on Bush and republicans. Hannity-bots see the surge as a great victory but it was a major loss because of the political effects at home. The war took way too long and cost way more than the expectations that GWB created to sell it in 2003. Hannity-bots simply deny that GWB ever set expections high initially. The fact that GWB ran it off budget, not funded by tax increases or spending cuts, allowed him to be re-elected in 2004 but doom party in 2006+2008. He had to increase all types of deficit spending because of Iraq, politically. Bush taught country that government is free with Iraq.

The democrat government needs a certain number of tax slaves to stay in power. Without the slaves, the democrats would have no funds for free life time support in exchange for votes.

Tea parties we don't need. What we need are classes that teach people how to avoid paying taxes of any kind. There are numerous ways to buy less and avoid consumer taxes. There are ways to limit property taxes. Gas taxes can also be limited by planning ahead when leaving the home. People need to be more tax conscious, and there needs to be a campaign to bring peoples attention to how much the government is really taking out of their wages each year. ALL the taxes, not just the ones they ignore on their pay stubs.
I think if people were encouraged to actually pay attention to the money being stolen from them, things would change.

The BORG said the same thing and look what happened. I mean ya, Capt. Picard, Riker, Data— that was a lot to handle. But when you’re even losing to Captain Janeway that’s just pathetic.

Question: "The Obama Steamroller: Is Resistance Futile?"

Response: No.

Comment: Resistance will escalate. Third Worlders lack judgment and they shall rapidly move to oppression; i.e. the taking of firearms, mandatory "community service," confiscatory taxation, additional racial preferences, increased lawsuits with large jury awards against any person, firm or entity attempting to resist a Third Worlder's will. Fight or slavery.
