was this poll cooked, was it accurate? I don’t know, but I am not willing to take the chance that it is wrong.
How many of those polled back then are now senior NCO and senior Officers in the military? Are you willing to bet that their views have changed in the slighted?
Just as the Founding Fathers did, so do I, keep a wary eye on the military. It pains this veteran to say these words, but the military is a wild card in this equation, neither friend nor foe, yet.
This veteran thinks that as long as the military consists of our sons and daughters ... they will not fire on us. that is why there are talks about foreigners being allowed into our military. they would fire on us without hesitation. That is one of the MANY reasons that if something is to be done to save this republic it had better be pretty soon

Clinton was a rascal and a lib but Clinton was acting within the boundaries of the Constitution and not testing or passing the edges of it. He knew to salute the honor guard of Marine One and not shake their hand.
He also had some sense of what it took to keep the economy alive.

I doubt you would find 25% willing to fire on civilians and even so if, the other 75% would stop them.
