In my opinion, printed media is disappearing due to both “creative destruction” (alternative sources) AND pervasive liberal content and bias (which alienates at least half of its potential audience). There are PLENTY of alternate news and opinion sources, some of which are quite new and fresh (such as Internet news and satellite radio). Free speech will not disappear — that is, unless we allow the fascists take full control. IMHO, there will be blood in the streets before that happens.

The problem is, conservative papers are doing just as bad or even worse.

The only reason my economically conservative paper is doing okay is that they run a ship so tight you barely any anything budgeted for office supplies.
