This is excellent and tracks with the decisions I have made regarding where to live. My wife was born in Ohio and lived in NY and when I brought her down here to Texas she couldn't believe the differences. Of course some states like Texas have extreme differences across state regions too. So it's not just the state but what part of the state. The red blue political maps are informative in this regard. Currently we have a situation where the less free blue counties are demanding increased wealth from the freer red counties, a parasitic situation for sure.
