There is nothing “fresh” about the rhetoric.
Its the same marxist bs we have heard for years...
I told my husband this morning that class warfare works as a political tool, but it will work, especially well, to bring in 0’s socialistic goals.
The average uninformed Joe sees huge sums of money going to bailout Wall Street, automakers, etc., and then they hear about large salaries of Wall Street traders, and big benefit packages for auto workers, etc.
Their natural inclination is to say, “Where’s my payoff” and with that, 0 promises healthcare, college tuition, etc...ushering in socialism.
The political and economic climate is ripe for it, unfortunately. Hopefully, “America” will come to it’s senses and realize the government can give nothing without taking it first. But 0 says he’s taking it from the rich people, so they think it’s okay, and believe that’s where it will stop.
He’s a student of the doctrine of Black Liberation Theology that he chose to be listen to for years with Rev. Wright; take from the have’s and give to the have not’s. More to come unfortunately. He’s just implementing his socialist views.
The “rich” DO NOT bury their money in the back yard!
They use it to buy goods and services, or make it available for lending,....or, more directly, HIRE NEW WORKERS!!!
Until conservatives learn to make their point more directly they will continue in obscurity. Phrases like “class warfare” mean nothing to the average voter.
Hey come on—give this a chance. You can’t expect a quick fix...
I mean, Mugabe took Zimbabwe over in what, 1980, or so?—he implemented change, but it took a while.
But now, in 2009, Zimbabwe is a shining example of....
Oops, never mind.

These guys are dead serious. They want to remake America overnight. They want to define a permanently reviled "upper class" that they can blame for all of our nation's problems. They want to redefine "middle class" to include nearly everyone, and hook us all permanently to the government teat.
This is not Karl Marx. It is Juan Peron.
